COMMUNITY DIETITIANS - WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Community Dietitians are involved in either health promotion, clinical work, or a mixture of both, promoting healthy food choices to prevent disease by increasing awareness of the link between nutrition and health. Community Dietitians work with:

  • Healthcare professionals e.g. GP's Practice Nurses, Community Nurses and Dental Health Educators.
  • Schools and Youth Services.
  • Local groups and Community Workers.
  • Social Services.
  • Local Authorities.
  • The Media (Local and National).
  • Workplaces.
  • Individuals.
