Food Standards Agency Projects
In February 2003, CNG was approached by the Food Standards Agency ' To carry out UK wide cross sectional survey in primary schools to determine the nutritional content of school packed lunches'.
Angie Jefferson and Kathy Cowbrough (Freelance Dietitians) agreed to co-ordinate the survey, analyse the data and write the report. Community Dietitians across the country contacted schools and carried out the survey. It was an opportunity for the expertise, networking ability and community contacts that Community Dietitians make to be highlighted.
